    Denny really is my hero

  2. engtech Says:

Mr Devil looks a lot like my Halloween costume from last year.

  3. HitTheRhodes Says:

Or Howie Mandel from Little Monsters….

  4. w0rmwood Says:

    I love Little Monsters.

But that’s not Satan, clearly thats a mid level bureaucrat from the acquisitions and purchasing department of Hell.

  5. thekenji Says:

More inspiration derived from Buffy, probably :)

I think PD is a cross between Buffy, Drawn Together, and a manga called Dr. Slump (from the creator of Dragon Ball).

  6. John Gap Says:

To truly see one’s soul you must look past their hairy head-tits.
Passive Depressive: Wisdom in every bite.

  7. Stiletto Says:

Denny looks like a paler version of a sleestack. The other dude suffers from anorexia.

  8. “Or Howie Mandel from Little Monsters….”

Howie Mandel was in Little Monsters?? That was a classic movie.

Speaking of Buffy and not at all relating to this (bitchin though it be) edition of PD…you know about the new canon comics, eh?

    *glances over her shoulder*
    …erm, don’t tell anyone I’m this much of a nerd, k?

  9. engtech Says:

Haven’t picked up Buffy on comics (or even watched the series yet).

I like Joss Whedon’s other comic forays like Fray and Astonishing X-Men.

  10. Well the thing is, here’s the thing – the world of Buffy ended on tv with the world still at peril, so Whedon is doing a final season in comic form. And you should watch. Season one is good, but just good. It was only ever meant to be a half season filler so it’s lacking in layers, but season 2 on is sex. Gogo.

  11. He actaully wrote a pretty slick series (Fray) a while ago about the Buffy world in the future. That scythe she was swinging around the last few episodes belonged to that Fray chick in the future.
