Here’s a quick update with recent stories at //engtech

The best post is “Top Ten things I hate about working at a start-up during crunch time“.

All you government types will probably be interested in how to access gmail from behind a firewall.

PostSecret reveals the secret of blogger remorse at all the time that is wasted on blogging.

Internet buys the Video Star, Google now owns YouTube.

A great looking video demo of Yet Another Calendar/Organizer application.

Google also has a new product for searching open source code, which is pretty useless except for being able to find backdoor passwords and bugs to exploit.

Obviously I have a huge hard-on for Google as I talk endlessly about them and froth at the mouth when one of the employees writes an eleventeen-hundred page essay on what it’s like to work at Google.

To further my Google fanboism I even throw dirt in the face of Microsoft and their ridiculous “Windows Genuine Advantage” scheme that fails for 42% of the people who have genuine copies.

On the boring subject of programming and coding

I also talked way too much about blogging and online social networks but even I know that nobody wants to read about that.
